Terms of Use

These terms apply to the DailyWall app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch ("the app") and to this website. The app is developed and published by Serkan Kaplan ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to install and use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or extract its drawings, fonts, stickers, tapes or other assets for use outside the app.

2. Your content

Everything you write, draw or attach in the app is yours. We claim no rights to it and, as described in the Privacy Policy, we cannot even see it. You are responsible for what you put on a wall, including a shared wall, and for having the right to use any photo you attach.

3. Shared walls

Shared walls run on Apple's CloudKit. When you create a wall and invite people, they can see the wall, hang paper on it and see who hung each paper. When you join a wall, the owner and the other participants can see what you hang. Anyone with an invitation link or QR code can join a wall, so share invitations only with people you want on the wall. The owner may remove participants or delete the wall at any time; you may leave a wall at any time.

You agree not to use shared walls to harass anyone, to share content that is illegal or that you have no right to share, or to disrupt the service. We do not moderate shared walls and cannot see their content; if someone on a wall behaves badly, leave the wall and, if needed, write to us.

4. Free use and DailyWall Pro

The free version lets you hang up to five notes a day on your personal wall and two notes per person on each shared wall, and includes every free paper shape, handwriting style, sticker, tape and wall as well as the Lock Screen wall. DailyWall Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that removes these limits, keeps your walls in iCloud and unlocks the Pro sticker and tape packs.

• Subscriptions are sold by Apple through the App Store in your local currency. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed, or at the end of a free trial if you have not cancelled.
• A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policy; we cannot issue refunds ourselves.
• Prices may change; you will be told before a change applies to your renewal. Features included in Pro may be extended over time; content packs described as "Pro" may change between versions.

5. Lock Screen and Shortcuts

Setting the wall as your Lock Screen wallpaper relies on the Shortcuts app and an automation that you create on your device. The app produces the wallpaper image; iOS and Shortcuts apply it. We cannot guarantee that iOS will always apply a wallpaper exactly as produced, and a change in iOS may require the automation to be set up again.

6. Smart add and third-party services

Smart add may send the line you type to our server and to OpenAI, as described in the Privacy Policy. Subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat. Sync and shared walls use Apple iCloud and CloudKit. These services are subject to their providers' own terms, and their availability is outside our control.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the app working well, but it is provided "as is" without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and may stop providing the app or a part of it. Your data remains yours on your device and in your iCloud account regardless.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may end your licence if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (your content, liability, governing law) survive termination.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country you live in. Disputes are settled by the courts and consumer arbitration boards of Türkiye unless those rules give you a different forum.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, the new version is published at this address with a new date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
